====== HotelKey ====== ===== DuVoice Configuration ===== DuVoice services must be shutdown before updating the DuVoice configuration. - Open 'Manager' or 'System Configuration' application. - Click 'features' drop down menu. - Click on 'hospitality'. - Click on the server you wish to edit, or click add if there are no servers. //Please note:// * //Anything listed as "N/A" isn't relevant to this type of integration.// * //Anything listed as "PMS-dependent" is information that must be acquired from the PMS vendor on a per-site basis.// * //Anything listed as "Flexible" is recommended to leave at default settings, except when there is a required use-case for the setting change in your specific installation.// === General === ^ PMS/Protocol | HotelKey FIAS (TCP) | ^ Link Type | TCP Client | ^ Idle Timeout | 0 | ^ Room lookup method | Flexible | === Network === ^ Server address | PMS-Dependent | ^ TCP port | PMS-Dependent | === Overrides - Link Control === ^ Enable ACK/NAK responce| Checked | ^ ACK Delay Timer | Unchecked | ^ Poll interval | 300 | ^ Send ENQ | Flexible | === Overrides - General === ^ Enable data sync at start | Flexible | ^ Enable MWI for all users | Unchecked | ^ Forward wakeup data to PMS | Flexible | ^ Enable Opera DID | Unchecked | ^ Enable Opera GF/GT name fields | Checked | ^ Unique guest IDs | Unchecked | ^ Use name for password | Unchecked | === Auto-Create === ^ Enabled | Flexible | ^ Assign to tenant | Flexible | === Charge Posting === ^ Sales Outlet (minibar posting) | Flexible | ^ Sales Outlet (call charge posting) | Flexible | ^ Workstation | Flexible | ^ Post non-room call charges | Flexible | ===== FIAS Troubleshooting Notes ===== ==== Guest-ID ==== Since this is an FIAS interface (the link for check-in/out information is guest-ID based) using InnDesk web UI, DV2000 Manager application or the Hospitality Tester application for CHECK-IN testing can cause the DV2000 database to get out of sync with the PMS. Subsequent checkouts from the PMS and other functions may not work because the Guest IDs do not match. The solution is to check out any mailboxes from the DV2000 before recieving a check in from PMS. ==== PMS-link timing discrepancy ==== Packets that are sent back and forth from each system, will appear as 'missing' from each systems' logs if the system time for the DuVoice server and the PMS interface server are too far off-sync. ==== DuVoice PMS-link configuration missing protocol ==== While doing your configuration, if you don't see the option for the protcol listed in the DuVoice PMS link configuration table above, you can substitute 'Oracle Opera FIAS' in its place as a workaround. It is recommended to update DuVoice to the latest version to avoid needing to do this.
