DVReport

The DVReport utility is used to generate various pre-defined system reports which can be saved to a comma-separated value (CSV) file or printed to a printer.  As shown in the figure below, you can generate and view more than one report at a time.

To generate a new report, click on the New button in the toolbar (the one that looks like a blank page) or select File | New from the main menu.  This will open the Reports dialog, as shown below.

Select the report type you wish to generate from the table shown; the Description field gives a summary of the type of data included in the report.  Click OK.  Another dialog will open to further refine the parameters for the report.  The exact appearance of the dialog will vary according to the type of report, but in most cases it will ask for either a mailbox number or a date range.

The figure below shows the dialog that appears if you select the report Message Log.

Enter the mailbox number whose message log you wish to view, or leave it blank to view message activity for all mailboxes.  In addition, you can also limit the report to a specific date range by checking the Date selection box and then selecting a start date and end date.  Click OK to open the report.
