To view the room activity page for a given room:
1. | From any browser, access InnDesk and login using a valid account. This can be done from the homepage of InnDesk. Enter your username and password in the boxes provided in the upper right corner (as shown below) and then click Login. |
2. | From the menu, select Reports | Room | Activity: |
3. | Using the list box, select the room to view or select All to view a report on all rooms. Then select the start and end dates for the report using the provided date picker controls. Click OK to generate the report. |
The Room Activity report has the following columns:

The date and time when the activity was logged.

Activity
|
The action that occurred.
Some actions are relatively general, such as: Guest update. In those cases, look at the Details column for additional clarification of what occurred.

Details
|
Additional information about the activity.
This can further clarify what happened (such as the fact that a guest update was a name change or a maid code) or may indicate who is responsible (such as who scheduled a wakeup call).

Method
|
Where relevant, indicates how the action was performed.
|
Result
|
Indicates whether the activity was successful or not.
|
Line
|
For activity that involves a voice line, this indicates which voice line was used.
|
Callout Number
|
For callout activity (such as wakeup calls), this indicates what number was dialed. Otherwise, it will be blank.
|
Msg To/From
|
For activity involving receipt of a voice mail, this indicates who the sender/caller was.
For activity involving a message sent, this indicates the mailbox to whom the message was sent.
In all other cases, this will be blank.
