DV2000/DV4 can connect to a Metaswitch PBX (version 8.2 or above) using TCP/IP.  The dialog below shows the configuration settings for this connection.

Settings include:

 

Setting

Description

Location

Select the location with which this PBX is associated.  The remaining settings are valid for the selected location only.

 

If you have multiple locations and they are all using the same PBX, you will need to configure the settings identically for each location

Enabled

If checked, the settings for the selected location are enabled.

 

If not checked, the settings are disabled and the system will not send name, call bar, or DND changes to the PBX for mailboxes that are assigned to the selected location.

IP address or DNS name

Enter the IP address or DNS name of the Metaswitch PBX.

Switch name

Enter the name given to your PBX. Case sensitive.

Business group

Enter the business group associated with the guest rooms. Case sensitive.

TCP/IP port

Do not change from the default value 8080 unless the port for this interface has been changed on the PBX.

Retries

Enter the number of times to retry if an attempt to change subscriber settings fails.

 

Default is 3 retries

Interval

Enter the number of seconds between retries.

 

Default is 90 seconds.
