The Tools menu provides access to special-purpose options, as shown below.

SYS0009

These options include the following:

Menu Item

Description

System Alerts

Allows you to configure the system to send email alerts to one or more email addresses whenever certain system events occur, such as startup and shutdown of the main service.

Note: You must configure the VeMail service if you wish to use System Alerts.

Upload Voice Board Parameters

Uploads changes in the PBX integration template to the registry.  This only needs to be done if the template is changed while the main DV2000/DV4 service is running.

Changes made while the system is running, especially in the PBX template, will not take effect until you invoke this menu option.

Warning: While it is not necessary to stop the service before performing this action, it is necessary to make sure all ports are idle.
