HTNG Server

DV2000/DV4 can connect to a PMS using the HTNG protocol over TCP/IP.

This feature is implemented as a middleware server that translates from the HTNG protocol to the DuVoice Advanced protocol, and vice-versa, passing the translated packets to the DV2000/DV4's hospitality server for processing. Likewise, the hospitality server will send maid status and message count updates to the HTNG server using the DuVoice Advanced protocol and the HTNG server will translate them into HTNG packets and pass them on to the PMS.

Note: To finish configuration, you must configure the hospitality server PMS link to use TCP/IP with the DuVoice Advanced protocol. The HTNG server will read the TCP port assigned to the hospitality server's PMS link and use that port for communication with the hospitality server.

Settings include:

Setting	Description
Enabled	Check this box to enable the connection with a PMS using the HTNG protocol.
Local DNS Name or IP	The DNS name or IP address of this DV2000/DV4 server.
TCP/IP Port	Port number used for communication with the PMS.
HTNG Server URL	The full URL of the HTNG server (PMS) to which you want to connect.
DuVoice URL	The full URL of the DV2000/DV4 server. This field is auto-created for you based on the Local DNS Name or IP and TCP/IP Port fields. Read-only.
