Force an MWI off code at check out

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Normally, the VMS will only send an MWI off notification for the room extension if there were new messages in the mailbox at the time of check out; if there were no messages (or only saved messages), then an MWI notification would not be sent.  If for some reason you want to force the system to always send an MWI off notification at check out, you can enable this feature.

To configure the hospitality service to always send an MWI off notification at check out, follow these steps:

1.  Using Activity Monitor, stop the voice mail service.
